Tips for knitting with this combination
— Hold all three strands together throughout for a consistent, balanced fabric with beautiful drape and a soft halo.
— Needle size matters: use 3–4 mm needles for a denser, warmer fabric; go up to 5–7 mm for an open, airy, and drapey result ideal for layering pieces.
— Viscose loves drape — choose patterns with flowing silhouettes, wide sleeves, or relaxed fits to let the fabric move beautifully.
— Swatch generously before starting — the mohair halo can make it tricky to frog, so it is worth taking the time to get your gauge right from the start.
— Simple stitches shine here. Stockinette, garter, and basic lace all allow the texture and sheen of the yarns to take centre stage.
— Hand wash gently in cool water and lay flat to dry to preserve the halo and the drape of the viscose.
