The pattern itself is quite easy to understand once you've got a few garments under your belt. The construction is straight forward and well laid out in the pattern download.
The things that would improve the pattern - in my opinion - are the inclusion of gauge and needle sizes. Now, I know that this is an oversized cardigan, knitted on large size needles, however, what if my knitting is a lot looser or tighter? The gauge gives some relative size to aim for. The same goes for needles (are the examples in the pattern UK or US sizes?) I'm sure all of the above are not big issues for more experienced knitters who can "eye it in" and make it perfect :D I'm not one of them yet!
Other than that - I do appreciate a very short description - only one page. That actually feels a lot more mature and less "we'll hold your hand every step of the way". That makes me feel a lot more confident in my own skills.
Thank you, Sasha, for your thoughtful and detailed feedback! We’re glad you found the construction clear and the concise format encouraging. You make a very helpful point about including gauge and clearly identifying the needle-size system, especially for knitters still building their confidence. We’re sorry those details weren’t clear enough, and we really appreciate you highlighting where the instructions could be improved.
