Our Story
Yarn trading could be characterized as endless Christmas and as being constantly in the company of diligent and creative elves. Holidays for which enormous work and patience are invested. There have been many challenges and they will certainly continue in the future. But that's part of any business, in fact, of any life. Learning not only to celebrate holidays, but also to be grateful for the opportunity to prepare a festive meal, set the table and feel genuine joy while waiting for guests, gives endless satisfaction.
Yarns from Italy - reflects the product we sell and what origin it is. Simple and clear. Of course, our location in Latvia, Riga, can be confusing, because why would Latvians trade Italian yarns and sometimes even sell to customers in Italy. This is the advantage of this era. If you have something you love, if you are passionate and you are naturally curious, then it doesn't matter whether the product is manufactured in the country where you were born, or it is simply manufactured in the country that knows how to do it best. We believe that Italians produce the best yarn in the world, it is a proven value and it is the best from which we want to knit and create.
Each yarn cone is chosen with great care, each yarn composition is studied and tested. Thousands of samples have been knitted to get an idea of the yarn's qualities, advantages and characteristics. Exhibitions and leading Italian factories have been visited to get an understanding of the industry and to always have information about the latest in the yarn world.
No matter how passionate this occupation might be, without you, dear customers, it would not be possible. For 9 years in online commerce and 6 years in the Riga store CRAFT MIND, we are here for you!
